The Hands-On Pichia Course will explain and demonstrate opportunities for efficiently using the Pichia expression system. It will explore underlying concepts and deliver insights into current laboratory practices and step-by-step protocols. In particular, a number of Pichia’s special features will be addressed to show how its full molecular capacity can be exploited when employed for advanced production processes. Finally, the participants will receive a decision tree to support optimal protein production performance using Pichia pastoris.

This course is aimed at researchers from industry, academia and research institutions, with a solid background in microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry or biochemical engineering, and experience in protein expression, who are interested in learning about current best laboratory practices for the use of Pichia pastoris.
